Lee DeWyze will take his act to the NBA Finals. Fresh off being crowned the newest American Idol, DeWyze is set to perform the national anthem before Game 2 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday.
DeWyze will be the eighth Idol winner to perform the national anthem during the NBA Finals — joining Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks, Jordin Sparks, David Cook and Kris Allen.
Game 2 of the NBA Finals between the Lakers and Celtics will air Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET.

Tonight the judges picked a song for each of the top 3 contestants and the top 3 each had their own personal chioce. Lee chose to sing Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd and the judges chioce was Hallelujah. Lee BLEW the judges out of the water with both of his songs!
